The Evolution of the Florist Conference
J SchwankeFlorists are faced with a rapidly changing economic landscape and competitors from new areas threatening to reduce or consume the fresh flower market.

How is a small business that has traditionally relied on good service, word of mouth and customer loyalty to compete with these new predators? By equipping themselves to take part in the battle for the consumers in the new arenas of commerce!

Floral Summit 2008 is designed to work practically with florists to deliver useful training and instruction that can be applied to the everyday operations of a flower shop. With workshops covering Marketing, Websites, Technology and Sales, and a special design show featuring J Schwanke, Floral Summit 2008 is raising the bar!

Details

Floral Summit is not your Grandmother's florist conference!

We have chosen a format design to suit the small business owner - in and out in one day, with travel time. Of course, local accommodations are available should anyone want to stay in Toronto for a few days.

Tired of sitting in large groups listening to long-winded presentations? Not this time! Floral Summit is structured into four separate tracks that have a "small group" environment. Our speakers will not be talking at you - or over you! - but to you. By the time you leave a Floral Summit workshop you will have solid and useful advice that is relevant to your shop; the kind of information you can put to use the next day.

Think design shows are all about high-end stuff you might sell once a year? Not this show! The unforgettable J Schwanke is featuring fresh and fun designs you can use every day, and every day price points.

Ask the experts: Our speakers will be available during lunch and the design show to tackle questions informally on a more personal level.

Register and reserve your place at Floral Summit 2008 - The Survival of the Florist. Tickets are $65 per person, on a first come, first served basis. Attendance is limited to keep the workshop atmosphere, so don't delay.

VIP Ticket: Want more Summit? How about some up close and personal time with J Schwanke? Purchase a VIP Ticket for an intimate and interactive session and the opportunity to work with J Schwanke on May 24th as he prepares for his Floral Summit design show. VIP Tickets are available in an extremely small quantity for $150.

Light lunch and snacks will be served during the day, with coffee available throughout the day.
